I'm a research fellow at the Department of Computer Science, Brunel University London.

My research work and interests revolve around logic-based knowledge representation and reasoning, particularly in the context of Description Logics and Semantic Web technologies. Currently, I am involved in the Big Machine Science project, funded within DARPA's Big Mechanism
research programme, where we apply diverse artificial intelligence techniques in the biomedical domain.

I completed my PhD in artificial intelligence at the VU University Amsterdam (2013), under the supervision of Frank van Harmelen and Stefan Schlobach. Earlier, I had studied logic and philosophy.
